CNN Sought the Wisdom of Trans Rabbi Jessica Rosenberg About Gaza

What a joke.

What a totally ridiculous, laughable, yet disgusting joke of a news network CNN has become.

The Israel-Hamas war is one of the more serious conflicts going on in the world right now; Israelis were raped, murdered, mutilated, and taken hostage. Gaza itself is getting leveled, and while Hamas is being and should be destroyed, there are innocents in Gaza who are suffering as well.

Then there is Ukraine, Darfur, and other atrocities around the world.

Yet CNN invited “Rabbi” Jessica Rosenberg to bloviate about “her” view on peace in the Middle East, as if “she” represented an important voice in the debate because “she” heckled the president at a fundraiser.

It’s absurd. Hecklers of politicians are a dime a dozen, and their opinions should be disregarded as a matter of course because trying to get your point across in this manner is juvenile and prima facia evidence that you are an unserious person. I don’t care if I agree with you or not, I would look for somebody else to make my case.

Not CNN. I can’t find the video on YouTube, but here is the link so you can watch the execrable 3 minutes of airtime that CNN gave to this literally bearded “lady” who belongs in a freak show, not on a news network discussing matters of real import.

An interview at the event, asking “her” why she heckled the president would be in order, but not 3 minutes of airtime well after the event, treating this “Rabbi” as some sort of expert on the events in Gaza, or as a representative of a significant chunk of Jews in America.

No, it was literally a freak show, with CNN trotting out a person so that we can gawk at them. I can imagine no other reason for doing so. Even with 24 hours of time to fill, there must be more interesting people to talk to–people who have something relevant to say. How much time did CNN spend on various massacres going on in the world, or the imprisoning of Uighers, or any number of other more worthy stories than the ignorant opinions of somebody most Americans would dismiss after a single frame of video looking at “her?”

Sorry, but few Americans over 25 would give this person’s opinions a moment’s thought after looking at her bearded lady face.

“My great-grandfather pad a quarter to gawk at someone who looked like her.”

No, this is not a charitable point of view, but it is true. I wouldn’t point and stare when passing Jessica on the street, because it is cruel to do so. But then so is putting “her” on TV and expecting people not to do so. It’s impossible not to because we are being told to take “her” ignorant opinions seriously.

It’s like the story I wrote about this morning–the newly “transgender” Roman emperor who turns out to be among the most ridiculed in Roman history. Why do that? Wouldn’t you at least look for somebody people admire if you want to push alphabet ideology?

Honestly, I don’t get it. If you want Rabbi Rosenberg to blather about trans issues, that would make sense.

But Gaza? Please. What a joke.
