Duane Patterson and I step through some of the implications of the numbers, and the limited options Democrats have to correct their course. “I think Joe Biden and the Zombies would be a great band name,” I tell Duane at one point, when discussing Katie “Batgirl” Porter’s attempt to dodge a question on Biden. We also discuss a smoking gun that emerged this week in the Biden Inc probe of corruption in the then-VP’s office, Disney’s woes in court and on cable, point out that Universal proved to be none too Swift either, and plenty more!

- What does this show us? Democrats know that “Donald Trump is their best turnout model,” Duane concludes. “That’s the reason we see so much lawfare,” I reply. Democrats want to turn Trump into a “martyr so that Republicans will thunder to the polls to make him the nominee.”
- Do Democrats have a Kamala Problem? Duane and I disagree on that, as well as her recent media appearances.
- We also discuss a breaking-news story about Gavin Newsom that appears to rule him out as an option, and its implications.
- The memo uncovered by James Comer this week is a smoking gun regarding Biden’s corruption in two ways, I tell Duane. Follow the money and follow the calendar! Will McCarthy sign off on an impeachment inquiry now?
- Disney has competition this week for the dumbest entertainment megacorp, although they’re still trying hard. The swifties at Universal turned out not to be Swifties and turned down the bargain of the century, Duane tells me. “It’s Joe Biden running Universal,” Duane laughs.
