TikTok Will Help You Illegally Migrate

Is there nothing TikTok can't do? Most of us are probably familiar with the typical uses of the app. You can watch crazy dances and Tide Pod challenges. You can learn the locations of conservatives or Jews you'd like to dox. Or you can just open up your own data to be consumed by the Chinese Communist Party. It's all in good fun. But did you know that TikTok can also help you illegally migrate into the United States? A recent 60 Minutes segment reveals that migrants have been using the information provided by helpful TikTok posters to locate gaps in the border barriers where they can cross into the United States undetected. How awesome is that? (NY Post)

As an influx of immigration from around the world continues to surge, many are now crossing into the country through gaps in the border wall – and TikTok is reportedly helping them do it.

“TikTok, TikTok,” a translator speaking for a 37-year-old female Chinese migrant relayed to “60 Minutes” after being asked about how they learned about the southern border gaps near California.

According to a segment on “60 Minutes,” migrants have purportedly been using videos on the China-owned social media platform that provide ‘step-by-step instructions’ for how to find gaps in the border wall and hire smugglers.

A TikTok spokesperson told Fox News that, "TikTok strictly prohibits human smuggling which we remove from our platform." But that really doesn't answer the question, does it? The term "human smuggling" implies bringing someone to a new location surreptitiously, either against their will or with their cooperation. Does TikTok consider posting a video providing directions to a particular location in case anyone wants to go there to be human trafficking? Even I would be hard-pressed to fit that into the definition.

The company appeared to give itself a free pass by saying that it provides a space "for migrants and refugees to be able to document their journeys." And if documenting your journey happens to include a convenient route to an unmonitored gap in the fence, what's the harm, right?

Of course, that sort of useful information will only open the door to more illegal migrants making it into the country, which is just what Joe Biden wanted from the beginning. Speaking of which, did you hear who the latest person to join the TikTok craze was? Yes, it was Joe Biden himself.

President Joe Biden's 2024 presidential campaign has joined TikTok despite sources saying last year that the campaign wouldn't formally use the social media platform.

The account is being run by campaign staff, who will be posting content regularly as the campaign does on other social media such as Instagram, Facebook, X and Threads, campaign advisers said.

"The campaign will continue meeting voters where they are, innovating to create content that will resonate with critical audiences and the core constituencies that make up the president’s diverse and broad coalition of voters," advisers said, explaining the move.

This is just a joke and not a very funny one. One of the few things that Joe Biden previously seemed to have gotten right was that TikTok is a tool of the CCP and it puts people's data at risk. Just last year his reps were saying that the campaign would not use the app. As recently as yesterday, John Kirby insisted that the administration still has "security concerns" regarding TikTok. And now they've turned around and set up an account and posted their first video. It has reportedly already had five million views.

Do these people ever grow tired of lying and blatantly backtracking? I would imagine not. So why wouldn't illegal migrants continue to use TikTok to find easier ways to sneak into the country now that Uncle Joe is on the platform? After all, he was the one who invited them to come in the first place.
