Selma Blair's Comment Calling for the Deportation of 'Terrorist Goons' Is Quickly Deleted

Another actress is feeling the ire of social media blowback for voicing her opinion. You know why. Sane people do not support Hamas, nor do they think there is a place for them in this world, especially in the United States.

Actress Selma Blair, who is Jewish, is being called an Islamophobe for a comment she left on a post on Instagram. The video called out Squad members Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush after they voted against a bill that would prevent Hamas terrorists from coming into the United States. It wasn't her Instagram account and she didn't post the video, she only left a comment about it.

The poster on Instagram is Abraham Hamra, a Syrian Jewish refugee.

In a now-deleted comment, Blair wrote under the video: 'Thank you very much. Deport all these terrorist-supporting goons.

'Islam has destroyed Muslim countries and then they come here and destroy minds. They know they are liars. Twisted justifications. May they meet their fate.'

Her comments weren't over the top. Americans don't want Hamas terrorists in the United States. Look at what happens to people in Iran or Afghanistan when Islamic fundamentalists take control of the country. She was telling the truth.

Hamas must be destroyed.

Hamra calls Rep. Tlaib a liar, moron, and a hateful antisemite. Who is arguing about that? She is the only Palestinian-American. Hamra said, "The truth is that the Jews have been victimized by Arahs, and not the other way around."

At the time of her no-vote, Tlaib justified it saying it is redundant. 'It’s just another GOP messaging bill being used to incite anti-Arab, anti-Palestinian, and anti-Muslim hatred that makes communities like ours unsafe,' she said. She's always the victim. It was a vote against terrorists. She's nothing without grievances.

Besides her acting career, Blair is an advocate for people with disabilities. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis several years ago. She is being called a "raging Islamaphobic bigot" now.

That tweet is from a person who calls herself a "Freelance Film Culture Critic & Journalist" in her X bio.

Of course, the antisemitic activist group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), weighed in

'No one is born a bigot, and we should never assume that someone is doomed to remain a bigot.

'Based on the hateful and ignorant remarks that Ms. Blair made, we doubt that she has ever engaged in any meaningful interactions with her Muslim colleagues in Hollywood or other members of the American Muslim community,' said the organization's Deputy Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell.

He also called on 'Hollywood studios and agencies to stop punishing artists who express support for Palestinian human rights while ignoring hateful comments by artists who support the ongoing genocide in Gaza.'

CAIR wants her to apologize and "dialogue" with the community. Which community? The one that wants her dead because she is a Jew?

Again, it was one comment on a video on an Instagram account. There is no genocide in Gaza. The genocide happened in Israel on October 7, 2023.

Some celebrities have spoken out. Michael Rapaport and Debra Messing offered support to Hamra. Their comments have not been deleted. Blair has not responded since her comment was deleted. I hope she doesn't apologize to anyone for it.
