He is a confessed deserter. A traitor.

I can barely type his name without spitting in disgust and fury.

Bowe. Bergdahl.

Everything about this miserable, sniveling POS is a disgrace.

A 2009 NCIS investigation into Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s activities while in Afghanistan reveals clear evidence that Bergdahl was “going over to the other side with a deliberate plan,” Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer said on Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” Monday night.

Shaffer, a former military intelligence officer and Fox News contributor, said two senior sources told him that the Naval Criminal Investigative Service investigation included a forensic review of his computer, which showed Bergdahl’s apparent intent to travel to Uzbekistan.

“He was going to go off to Uzbekistan,” Shaffer told Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly. “He had made contact with local Afghans and wanted to be moved to Uzbekistan and then made contact with the Russians because he wanted to talk to Russian organized crime …

…According to the sources, data collection at the time indicated Bergdahl made contact with an Afghan in an effort to lay the groundwork for his departure.

“He had Afghan contacts and he was actually trying to offer himself up with the Taliban. Both are very severe,” Shaffer added.

The soldiers who had served with him were afraid to speak up for fear of reprisals from the Army and a triumphant Obama administration.

A soldier who served with Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl called the deserter’s return to the US a “well-orchestrated public relations campaign” while criticizing politicians on both sides of the aisle.

Army Captain Chase Spears wrote in The Baltimore Sun that a full account of the actions surrounding Bergdahl’s actions should be provided to the public.

“Though it was common knowledge inside the unit that Sergeant Bergdahl had deserted, the Army allowed the myth to perpetuate that he might have fallen behind on a patrol,” Spears wrote.

“Soldiers who knew the truth were afraid to speak up, out of fear that they would be punished.”

There are the servicemembers who were lost while searching for the traitor who couldn’t speak up, either.

Staff Sergeant Clayton Bowen, 29, of San Antonio, Texas, and Private 1st Class Morris Walker, 23, of Chapel Hill, N.C., were killed by a roadside bomb in Paktika province on Aug. 18, 2009, while trying to find Bergdahl. Like Bergdahl, they were part of the 4th BCT from Fort Richardson, Alaska.

Staff Sergeant Kurt Curtiss, 27, of Murray, Utah, died Aug. 26 in Paktika Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when he was shot while his unit was supporting Afghan security forces during an enemy attack. Like Bergdahl, Bowen and Walker, he was part of the 4th BCT.

2nd Lieutenant Darryn Andrews, 34, of Dallas, Texas, died Sept. 4 in Paktika Province when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device and a rocket-propelled grenade. Like Bergdahl, Bowen, Walker and Curtiss, Andrews was part of the 4th BCT.

Staff Sergeant Michael Murphrey, 25, of Snyder, Texas, died Sept. 6 in Paktika province after being wounded by an IED. Like Bergdahl, Bowen, Walker, Curtiss and Andrews, Murphrey was part of the 4th BCT.

…On Sept. 4, 2009, Private 1st Class Matthew Martinek, 20, of DeKalb, Ill., was seriously wounded in Paktika province when Taliban forces attacked his vehicle with an improvided explosive device, a rocket-propelled grenade and small-arms fire.

These valiant soldiers won’t ever have a chance to get old, hold their grandchildren, collect VA benefits or a military pension.

Guess who’s going to be able to?

Then there are the wounded survivors of the firefights, who, as they searched for this traitor, are now living with their memories and their pain.

A ex-Navy SEAL broke down and cried on the witness stand Wednesday as he testified about a military dog killed on a mission to find Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who deserted his post in Afghanistan and was held by the Taliban for five years.

The SEAL, who suffered a career-ending injury during that mission, testified at the sentencing hearing for Bergdahl, who pleaded guilty last week to desertion and endangering his comrades. He faces up to life in prison.

Living with horrific injuries solely due to a deserter who walked away from his unit.

A soldier on Thursday offered gripping testimony at Bowe Bergdahl’s sentencing hearing, recalling how his hand was shattered during a search mission for the Army deserter.

“I just thought I was going to definitely die right there in Afghanistan,” said Jonathan Morita, who became a sergeant before leaving the Army.

Or coming home from those firefights alive but not living.

A retired soldier who was shot in the head while searching for US Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl in Afghanistan a decade ago has died of complications from the injury, according to reports.

Master Sgt. Mark Allen, of Loganville, Georgia, was severely wounded in 2009 when he and other troops looked for Bergdahl, an Army private who deserted his post and was captured by the Taliban.

Allen, who died Saturday at age 46, was shot during an insurgent ambush in 2009, when he was left paralyzed over much of his body and unable to speak after suffering a traumatic brain injury.

Four of the murderous scumbags traded for the traitor are now in the “government” of Afghanistan.

That’s a helluva recruiting poster, isn’t it?

What has happened now is a gross miscarriage of justice as well as a slap at the memories of the six magnificent servicemembers who lost their lives, and their grievously wounded brothers-in-arms during those days in the frantic search for this miserable POS deserter .

A federal judge on Tuesday vacated the conviction of former Army soldier Bowe Bergdahl, who pleaded guilty to desertion after leaving his post in Afghanistan and spending five years in Taliban custody.

U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton found that Bergdahl was denied a fair trial because the military judge overseeing his case, then-Col. Jeffrey Nance, did not disclose he was applying for a civilian position at the Justice Department while presiding over the court-martial.

“Furthermore, the Court will vacate all orders and rulings issued by the military judge who presided over the plaintiff’s court-martial as of October 16, 2017, and thereafter — which was the date when that military judge submitted his employment application for an immigration judge position,” Walton wrote, adding that, “Consequently, the judgment of the military judge regarding the plaintiff’s [Bergdahl’s] court-martial is rendered void.”

If the administration and Army don’t go after him again – and who are we kidding – he gets all his benefits back, they’ll owe him a refund on the $10 grand fine, the VA will be on the hook to patch up whatever owies he claims the Taliban gave him while a guest in their hovels, and God knows what back pay accrual.

For a confessed traitor with blood on his hands.

When mis-gendering the male major in a skirt can get you investigated for harassment and blow your career out of the water.
